Exciting News: New Office in Pentagon Park!

We are thrilled to announce that we have moved to a new office located at 4530 W 77th St, Suite 345, Edina, MN 55435, in the heart of Pentagon Park—a dynamic campus that includes many technology and healthcare-based companies, including Prairie Care Clinic.

Pentagon Park is simply convenient. Situated between Highway 100 and France Avenue, just north of Interstate 494. It’s easily accessible by car and has ample free parking. For those who prefer bus transit, the campus is serviced by Metro Transit routes 540, 540C, 540D, and 6K.

Office Hours: Currently available by appointment, as I continue to offer in-home visits for your convenience.

Joining me in the new office is Cathy Hietala, a skilled financial planner and Vice President of the Minnesota branch of The Terrio Group. Cathy shares my ethics-based approach to helping clients, and together, we believe in the importance of having a trusted advisor to guide you through complex areas such as Medicare, long-term planning, and protecting your financial future. Together, we offer a comprehensive approach to your health and financial wellness needs.

Our seminars and member meetings will be held in the First Floor Training Center of the adjacent building, 4550 W 77th St—a perfect space for these educational events.

Stay updated on all upcoming events and register to attend by visiting virtueins.com/upcoming-events.

The office is not yet open to the public as painting and furniture delivery is still underway, but we are excited to welcome you soon! And I am excited to introduce you to Cathy.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is right around the corner!

September 4th, 2024

Welcome to September! A time when we look forward to cooler weather, football, pretty leaves and your Annual Notice of Changes (ANOC) booklets coming in the mail!

Well, maybe we only look forward to 3 of the 4!

Big changes are coming to your Medicare Advantage plan in 2025, including updates related to the Inflation Reduction Act. With all the disruption, it is more important this year than ever to review your plan information carefully.

I know that understanding the Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) document you receive in the mail detailing these changes can be challenging—many people find it hard to read or know what it all means. That’s why I recommend attending an Annual Notice of Change meeting to help make it easier for you!

Seminars will be posted soon on the Upcoming Events page.

Mark your calendars and bring your friends and family along. Enjoy some refreshments and learn what’s new in 2025!

The meetings will take place at the 1st Floor Training Center, 4550 W 77th St, Edina, MN, within Pentagon Park. You can find Pentagon Park on W. 77th St between Highway 100 and France Avenue, comprising 5 buildings. The specific meeting location will be in the 4550 building.

To get to the Training Center:

  • From the south parking lot off W. 77th St, enter the 4550 building and take the elevator to the first floor. The Training Center is the first door in the hallway to the right.
  • From the north lot off Parklawn, enter the 4550 building and take the hallway to the left. The training Center is the first door on the right.

Exciting News for 2025 Medicare AEP: Fresh Part D Subsidies to Combat Carrier Exits and Premium Increases

August 14th, 2024

In the wake of lost lawsuits and much fear around rising premiums, decreasing benefits and plan exits, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have announced “new premium stabilization measures.” This will be a subsidy to help prevent large premium increases and plan exits for 2025.

I, for one, am relieved to hear this. As many of my clients know, I have working to get prescription, pharmacy and provider information now in anticipation of a very busy Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), which runs from October 15th to December 7th. While I am still expecting more disruption than in a normal year, particularly with the falling out between HealthPartners and United Healthcare (read about that here), this announcement is giving me hope that the turmoil will be far less than the industry previously predicted.

My goal is to find you a plan that provides security and you do not have to change every year. Stability in carrier benefits and premiums are crucial to this so this news is welcome.
